Living The American Dream

Pricing It Right!

Knowledgeable First-time Sellers Make Smarter Decisions

A little preplanning and research will allow you to make smarter decisions about the sale of your first Cleveland home and the home selling process. Start by evaluating your home’s curb appeal. Remember – first impressions are everything! Does your home say, “Welcome – Come on in! Or does it say Go Away – I’m Worn-out and Dirty!” Low cost, easy to complete curb appeal suggestions include:

  • A manicured lawn
  • Trimmed shrubs
  • Power-wash your driveway and sidewalk to remove grease/oil stains
  • Add fresh mulch to your flowerbeds and blooming seasonal flowers for a nice touch

Don’t forget to make sure the interior of your home is white-glove clean and free of clutter. Be sure to remove many of the family photos and personalized accessories that will distract buyers and make it difficult for them to visualize their belongings in your home. Remember the RRCC plan – Repair, Replace, Clear, Clean. No doubt your home is probably competing with many other homes on the market in your neighborhood so you must have an edge on the competition. By making your home more appealing than your competitor’s, you increase your chances of selling it quicker and for more money.

Price It Right The First Time!

Pricing your home right is critical to selling it for top dollar and selling it quickly. If it’s overpriced, the home will probably languish on the market and you risk eliminating many potential buyers by pricing it too high. Plus, if it stays on the market, people assume there’s something wrong with it. Contact me, Keith Ramach, and I’ll provide a free – no obligation market analysis to determine the fair market value of your home. The analysis will provide the information you need to properly price your home. This report will also include information on the price of similar homes in your area that have recently sold.

Schedule Your Complimentary Home Evaluation
